• An initiative to publish the written work of young authors in Vancouver.

• Students from that year's selected schools write a short story based on a given theme.

• Stories are submitted to the DLC Team. We format and publish the work into a book.

• Open to students from Kindergarten to Grade 7.

• All submitted writing will be included in the publication.

• Participation in the writing project is free.

Every year, as each new volume is published, a copy of the book is donated to every VSB elementary school's library.

We believe that by reading short stories written by their peers, more young readers will be inspired to write stories of their own.
